Polar-rain provides guided heritage tours, historical excursions, and educational experiences across the United Kingdom. Services include group tours, private experiences, and bespoke itineraries as described on our website.

Booking and Payment

Reservations

Tour bookings are subject to availability. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a reservation. Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of deposit payment and written confirmation from our team.

Pricing

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify prices at any time, though confirmed bookings will not be affected by subsequent price changes.

Payment Terms

• A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking
• Full payment is due 14 days before the tour date
• Bookings made within 14 days of the tour require full payment at time of booking
• Accepted payment methods include major credit and debit cards

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation by Customer

• More than 7 days notice: Full refund minus deposit
• 3-7 days notice: 50% refund of total booking value
• Less than 3 days notice: No refund
• No-show: No refund

Cancellation by Polar-rain

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to insufficient bookings, severe weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Tour Modifications

We may modify tour itineraries due to site closures, weather conditions, or other factors. We will make reasonable efforts to provide equivalent alternatives. Minor changes do not entitle customers to refunds.

Participant Responsibilities

• Arrive at the designated meeting point at the specified time
• Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for walking tours
• Follow guide instructions and site regulations
• Respect other participants and historical sites
• Disclose any medical conditions or accessibility requirements before booking

Health and Safety

Tours involve walking on varied terrain, including uneven surfaces, steps, and inclines. Participants should be in reasonable physical health. We recommend consulting a healthcare provider if you have concerns about your ability to participate.

Liability

Limitation of Liability

Polar-rain accepts no liability for:

• Personal injury except where caused by our negligence
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Delays or changes to transportation not operated by us
• Actions of third parties or other tour participants
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Polar-rain harmless from any claims arising from your violation of these terms or your conduct during tours.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Polar-rain or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without written permission.

Photography and Media

We may photograph or record tours for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your likeness in marketing materials unless you notify us otherwise before the tour begins.

Governing Law
